Description

As the name implies, this Monkey Flower naturally grows along streams throughout Southern CA. Blooms vigorously on stems to 2'-3'. Acts as both an annual and perennial. Seeds travel through the water and can be very invasive. A beautiful plant but make sure that it is planted in the proper area. Requires water to survive and is not drought tolerant.

Water Saving Tip:

Replace turf with groundcovers, trees, and shrubs. If you have areas where no one uses the grass, patches that do not grow well, or a turf area too small to water without runoff, consider replacing the turf with water-efficient landscaping.
