Description

Standard in low desert landscapes. Grey desert spoon requires little maintenance. Plants tolerate drought, reflected heat & poor soils. Develops short, thick trunk while reaching 6' tall and wide. Native Arizona, New Mexico & Texas 3-5000'. Leaves are linear grey-green to 3' long & armed. During late spring to summer, erect stem of white creamy flowers. Long lived. Slow. Needs well drained site. Males & females. Cold & drought hardy. Will eventually form a trunk.
