Little Leaf Cordia |
Medium sized shrub to 8' from Chihuahua & Sonora. Character is open and sprawling. Branches are grey & covered with greyish-olive, small leaves which are oval and toothed. Leaves are usually evergreen except with hard freezes. Sun or shade. Not as attractive in winter. Give adequate room so pruning will not destroy its character. Warm humid conditions trigger blooms which are small & pure white in masses. Tough and needs little maintenance. Mexican native, it is drought tolerant when established.
