Description

A semideciduous perennial, the Heartleaf Brunnera bears large, rounded, heart-shaped leaves to 10" long by 6" wide. Borne on open spikes are tiny, clear sky-blue flowers that appear most heavily in spring, but with some in bloom almost all year. It is damaged below 25 degrees F, but is definitely hardier than it looks. -Monterey Bay Nursery

Water Saving Tip:

Replace turf with groundcovers, trees, and shrubs. If you have areas where no one uses the grass, patches that do not grow well, or a turf area too small to water without runoff, consider replacing the turf with water-efficient landscaping.
