White, lilac-like blossoms in the summer can attract hummingbirds. Flowers appear in mid summer. Bees also attracted. Long lived, semi-evergreen, fragrant light green ferny foliage. Bark develops into flaky reddish. Full sun, well drained. Suffers in low desert summers. Evergreen in mild, deciduous in cold climates.

Water Saving Tip:

Replace turf with groundcovers, trees, and shrubs. If you have areas where no one uses the grass, patches that do not grow well, or a turf area too small to water without runoff, consider replacing the turf with water-efficient landscaping.
